Bought this to try out on my new AK that I finally got around to buying and it did just fine in the Arsenal SAM 7. Of course, you all provided nothing less than excellent service in ordering and shipping and timely receipt.

I've cycled nearly a thousand of these bad boys through my 1974 Romanian Ak-47 and had no failure to feed, fire or eject. I've shot the 122 grain FMJ's, 124 grain FMJ's, 122 grain HP's and 154 grain SP's and had flawless results every single time. 8x8 solid cinder blocks get chopped in half by these FMJ's 1 shot. These are some serious rounds, kids.

May 3, 2013What are you waiting for... Buy in now before Obama makes them degrade the powder!
I have an SKS and an AK-47. The TUL 7.62x39 is just fine and probably the best Ammo value out there. Yeah it's steel case, but I don't reload.. do you? I have blown through thousands of rounds and not a single FTF or stovepipe. Accuracy is better than my hold, and when the freakin Zombies attack,,, they don't care if you are slinging TUL or Competition hand loads., They only want… read more YOUR BRAINS! Only thing is that the Tul powder seems a little dirtier than Winchester or Hornandy.. No big deal, I clean after each session anyway.

May 29, 2012Good value
I will be ordering more of this ammo soon. I think it is an exceptional value. I have not had the opportunity to fire a lot of rounds because the AK I bought neede sight adjustments. I just recently ordered and received a sight adjustment tool. I will post again when I get a chance to shoot accurately. Thanks LuckyGunner. I'll return.

Can American-made brass ammo be used in AK platform rifles such as my Saiga .223 in regards to performance? I've always heard of performance and reliability issues when AR-15 types try to use steel-case ammo.
Generally speaking, the brass cased .223 or 5.56 will tend to be more reliable in the AR-15 platform. This should not imply that steel cased rounds are going to malfunction or underperform. Some shooters, including myself, have never experienced any probl
Can this ammo be re loaded?
This steel cased ammo will not work for reloading. The steel case is harder than brass which will not resize as well, which is not safe for reloading. Additionally, these cartridges are Berdan primed and will not accept de-priming tools found on die sets.
