Water Jug destroyer

I shoot water jugs to see how a bullet will act in perfect conditions...165 HST 40S&W destroys a 1 gallon water jug unlike any other non magnum pistol rd. It and Hornady’s M1 match open a water jug up very similar ( yes I know the velocity difference). I find this round completely shreds all 4 corners of a gallon milk jug, almost evenly and completely, more similar to a slow 50g… read more 223, and M1 match.

Self Defense

This is my EDC rnd and when I go to the range I fire the mag in my XD 40 before going to White Box FMJ for range ammo. Not one problem with the Ammo.

Smith & Wesson M&P Shield 40 Test with Federal HST 165gr

My Shield 40 shot the Federal HST 165gr ammo with no problems. This will probably be my carry ammo after I seal the primers with fingernail polish. The only improvement I would like to see would be for Federal to seal the primers on their HST ammo. The Hornady Critical Duty and the Remington Golden Saber 40 S&W 165gr seal their primers.
