August 19, 2019not in my gun...
Kimber Micro380 pistol; tested four boxes from two lots and found they would not function reliably in this pistol. First round would not feed from a full or downloaded magazine, stalling at the feed ramp base. Usually subsequent rounds cycled properly on firing, but I experienced several stops or hesitations in feeding. Slam to the magazine base would kick the round up and into… read more battery, but that's not good enough for a defense load. I note that the V-Crown bullets seem to have a burr and be almost "pre-flared" at the HP mouth, plus their truncated cone profile is more acute than most or all of the other bullets I've used. Either seems a possible source of feed problems. This pistol has functioned flawlessly for over 1700 rounds with several other brands of ammunition in the same weight class  Federal HydraShok, Fiocchi XTP, Hornady XTP, Hornady FTX, Speer Gold Dot, plus a variety of FMJ factory and hand loads  so I don't consider the issue primarily a gun or operator problem. SIG was good enough to exchange for their 100gr FMJ FN. A shame since I have seen very impressive terminal ballistic results for the V-Crown, and it shot very accurately to PoA in my Kimber.

June 12, 2018Sig Ammo Performs!
I can't attest to this round's ability to stop or incapacitate a human, since thankfully I've never needed it for that, however it does cycle reliably through my Kahr P380. It also fires reliably from the tiny striker-fired pistol. I've tried Sig brand in other calibers and have always been impressed with the quality of construction, and that the ammo seems to meet its advertised… read more numbers. Sig ammo is competitively priced with other brands, maybe a little less expensive overall.

Expensive, but worked well in my Ruger LC380.

February 24, 2018Good Ammo but Slight Problem Feeding in My Kimber Micro .380
Pros: Powerful Reliable (no misfires) Cons: Did not feed well in my Kimber Micro .380 (Sharp leading edge catches on feed ramp) Had to push up on magazine to ensure proper cycling. I did purchase the extended magazine so that when I held it I could apply upward pressure and that helps with feeding. Overall its a good quality round but I don't believe I could trust it feeding… read more well in a pressure/fast response situation. I guess I need a more rounded nosed cartridge for the gun that I own.

December 23, 2016Excellent - look at the ballistics!
Good ammo. Shoots very well. The ammo itself doesn't have much bearing on hitting the target!

February 14, 2016Functions Flawlessly
I take note that both of the poor reviews of this Ammo were from Sig P238 owners. This Ammo functions well in my Glock 42. I found the accuracy to be excellent and the value is on par with other .380 ACP self defense ammunition.

July 12, 2014agree with sad sigger
I too purchased this ammo thinking it would shoot well in my sig 238. NOT!!! This ammo is the least accurate of all the 12 manufacured 380 acp I have tried. It is more expensive and least dependable to hit the target. The search continues.....

March 25, 2014Nice try Sig...
I bought these thinking they would make a jhp that would feed in a SIG SAUER P238. I was dead wrong! First round nose dives every time! Back to Hornady critical defense we go...
