Took several boxes of Wolf 7.62x39 ammo to the range today to sight in my Mini-30, and did not make it through a single 5-round magazine without at least one misfire (so something like a 20% failure rate). Looking at the rounds, I would see the dimple in the primer, but the round didn't go off. Hopefully I just got a bad batch; I was very happy with Luckgunner's speed in turning… read more my order around so I'm blaming Wolf instead of them.

Are wolf products still made in the Ukraine
Since 2009 The Tula Cartridge Plant and Ulyanovsk Machinery Plant no longer manufacture cartridges for Wolf due to legal disputes. Wolf now uses new European suppliers.
Is the casing lacquered?
Hi Casey, This casing is not lacquered. Wolf now uses a poly coating on these rounds.
