223 Rem - 55 Grain FMJBT - Federal American Eagle - 500 Rounds
Federal’s American Eagle line of ammunition offers precisely the performance you’d want for everyday target practice and high volume shooting. This 223 Rem ammo is great value for any AR-15 chambered for 5.56! This military-grade cartridge has a 55 grain bullet, the most common weight for 223 Rem and the standard for the Army’s own M193 spec ammo. At that weight the bullet issues from the muzzle at nearly three times the speed of sound. The bullet’s boat tail base is tapered to make it more aerodynamic, enabling it to fly faster than 1,900 fps at 400 yards. The boat tail helps flatten the bullet’s trajectory and protects it against wind drift as well. Federal’s FMJ lacks any steel and will not attract a magnet. It will help a semi-auto feed without jamming and prevent its barrel from quickly streaking with lead residue, but it will not expand inside soft tissue. Ammo like this can hold its own in a fight, but it’s not ideal for hunting anything larger than varmints. This ammo has new production brass cases, with 100 percent non-corrosive Boxer primers that make it great for reloading. Many people are wary of these military-grade rounds’ cases, which are gray around their necks. This discoloration is not the result of these cases having already been fired – it merely shows the brass has been correctly heat-treated so they can seal the chamber more effectively during ignition.
45 ACP - 230 Grain TMJ - Speer LAWMAN - 50 Rounds
Speer® brought sport shooters and law enforcement the excellence of Lawman over 35 years ago. Back in 1968, the line included various calibers of centerfire handgun ammunition, and quickly earned a reputation as a high-performance and reliable product. Lawman is attractively priced, and the cases are reloadable with clean-burning propellants and reliable CCI primers to complete the package. Total metal jacket (TMJ) is different from full metal jacket (FMJ) due to TMJ bullets having no exposed lead bases, this makes TMJ bullets better suited for firing in indoor ranges since there will be fewer lead particulates floating in the air after firing .
